College Football Betting Lines – Boise State Heavily Favored at Idaho on Friday

If you want to bet Boise State on Friday against the college football betting lines then get ready to lay some big points. The Broncos are laying almost five touchdowns on the road at Idaho in college football odds at Sbgglobal.  Even though the number is big you can expect the Broncos to be a popular pick.

Boise State is coming off a rout of Hawaii last week while Idaho was humiliated at home by Nevada.  There is simply not much reason to like Idaho in this game but it is a rivalry game, if you want to call Boise pounding Idaho every season a rivalry, so perhaps the Vandals will show up.

Boise has Fantastic Numbers
There is simply nothing not to like about Boise State. Did you know they were second in the country in points scored and second in the nation in fewest points allowed?  It is too bad they play in the rotten WAC because unless Auburn and Oregon both lose, the Broncos are not going to play for the national title.  Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore threw for a career-high 507 yards in Boise’s 42-7 rout against Hawaii. He should have another huge day against a rotten Idaho defense.

Home Field Edge
Is there really going to be a home field edge for Idaho on Friday night?  The game is technically at Idaho but who wants to cheer for the rotten Vandals? The team was simply crushed at home last week by Nevada. They gave up 844 yards in a 63-17 loss. Idaho now has a losing record at 4-5 and they have no real hope of competing with Boise State. Idaho has given up almost 500 yards in three of the past four games.

Trends Point to Boise
The Broncos are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a road favorite against the college football betting lines. The Broncos are 32-11-2 ATS in their last 45 games in November. The Broncos are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 conference games. The Vandals are 5-2 against the college football odds in their last 7 games as a home underdog and that is about the only positive trend for Idaho. The Vandals are 8-24 ATS in their last 32 conference games. The Vandals are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games in November.
