College Football Betting Line – Virginia Tech at Miami on ABC

Virginia Tech is a slight favorite on the college football betting line as they visit Miami on Saturday in an ABC televised game. The Hokies need to win just one more game to clinch a spot in the ACC title game.  It could come on Saturday against a Miami team that will be starting a true freshman at quarterback.  Virginia Tech is a 2.5 point favorite in college football betting lines at SBG.

Harris is Out
The Hurricanes will have to win without quarterback Jacory Harris who is still out. Harris suffered a concussion on October 30th and Miami is taking it very slow with his return.  True freshman Stephen Morris will make his third consecutive start on Saturday. Morris has actually played pretty well in place of Harris.  He threw the game winning TD in the win over Maryland and he threw for 230 yards in a 35-10 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday. Miami could win the ACC Coastal Division but they would have to win this week against Virginia Tech and then hope the Hokies lose against Virginia.

Virginia Tech Eight-Game Winning Streak
The Hokies have won eight straight games since losing their first two games and they have covered the spread in seven of those games.  The Hokies have simply been an excellent team against the college football betting line since their first two games.  They are also a very good favorite as they are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite.  Virginia Tech is good on the road as they are 25-9 ATS in their last 34 road games.
