College Football Betting Line – Nebraska Heavily Favored at Iowa State

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are looking like a Top 10 team again and they are heavily favored on the college football betting line at Iowa State on Saturday. Nebraska is an 18.5 point favorite in college football lines at the Sbg global sportsbook.  The total on this game that can be seen regionally on ABC television is 58.

Revenge Game
You might like Iowa State in this game with Nebraska coming off their big win over Missouri if it were not for one little thing.  The Cornhuskers lost to Iowa State last year when they turned it over eight times.  They will be out to make amends on Saturday.

Running Wild
The Cornhuskers rolled up a lot of yardage in their first five games on the ground as they were chewing up opponents. They stumbled against Texas and lost 20-13 but they have righted the ship the past two weeks. Taylor Martinez totaled 435 yards from scrimmage and threw five touchdown passes two weeks ago in a 51-41 win over Oklahoma State. Last week it was running back Roy Helu Jr. running for a school-record 307 yards. Last year the Cornhuskers lost 9-7 at home to Iowa State as they turned it over on seemingly every play. Helu wants revenge for last year’s loss.

Iowa State Looking to go Bowling
The Cyclones have played well this season with five wins but head coach Paul Rhoads knows they are in for a tough game against Nebraska. The Cyclones are not good against the run as they are giving up 194.3 yards per game on the ground, 99th in the nation. Iowa State can still win the Big 12 North though if they upset Nebraska and then win against Colorado and Missouri.
