At the beginning of this week all eyes were on the status of Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. While Tua is probable for Saturday his tender knee has Crimson Tide backers worried about his long term viability. Likewise, they were clearly the better team. Now there is a sense that the Vols have potential to make a bowl this year. But a 97th in the nation ranked offense is cause for concern.
Stats to Consider
Alabama has seen their betting on college football value drop as a road chalk. For example, the Tide has paid in just one of their last five in that situation. And four of their last seven as road favorites have gone under the total. However, Tennessee has gushed red ink as a home dog.
