BCS Busters in College Football Gambling

Sometimes though, the non-BCS teams like BYU and Boise State get attention from gamblers making a college football bet. Heading into the 2009 college football gambling season which non-BCS teams could make a splash? College football gambling is going to get heated up really early as two non-BCS teams, Boise State and BYU have huge games.  The Broncos open up the season with Oregon in what the school is calling the second biggest game in their history while BYU gets to play Oklahoma.

BYU actually could make some serious noise in college football gambling if they could upset the Sooners.  That would put the Cougars into the Top 20 and perhaps near the Top 10 as college football bet numbers show.  They also get games against Florida State, Utah and TCU that would help their rankings.  BYU has a very good team led by quarterback Max Hall and they could be the team that makes the BCS take notice in 2009.

Boise State does not have the schedule that BYU has and that probably makes them an online betting longshot to play in a

BCS bowl game unless they go unbeaten and even then it is not a given.  The only top team on their college football gambling schedule is Oregon but the Broncos face games they could lose at Fresno, Hawaii, Tulsa and Bowling Green.  Boise has a nice quarterback in Kellen Moore and a lot of returning starters that can impact college football gambling results at the online sportsbook.

TCU is another team that could impact college football gambling. They have games at Virginia and Clemson that could put them on the online betting map.  Winning at BYU seems unlikely though.  Another team that could be interesting to watch for gamblers making a college football bet from a non-BCS conference is Southern Miss.  They have a nice offense that could make some noise in college football gambling at the online sportsbook.

A team that is not getting much attention but could rock the boat in college football gambling is Nevada.  They open up with Notre Dame and they are capable of winning that college football gambling game.  Nevada has Colin Kaepernick and a win against the Irish in college football gambling puts them into the rankings.

A few other teams that will get some notice from gamblers making a college football bet but probably won’t crack the BCS bowl picture are Houston, East Carolina, Utah, Central Michigan and Tulsa.
