On the whole SEC Media Days failed to produce anything memorable in the way of controversy. Or even the former homespun entertainment of Steve Spurrier. But what the four-day festival failed to produce in fresh news it served as a reminder of what to expect. Extending what little news came from SEC Media Days was a feisty Gus Malzahn. The defiant Auburn head coach is on a warm seat heading into 2019.
