Conference USA Preview odds players know that the 2007 Conference USA race should be exciting although none of the teams in the conference will make a major splash in the national rankings. Football odds players think that Southern Mississippi is probably the favorite to win the league this season but other teams have a chance. Football odds players think that East Carolina could be the surprise winner this season. Football odds players believe that Skip Holtz is doing a nice job and they are capable of winning the East. Football odds players believe that the coach that really needs to do better is Tommy West at Memphis. Memphis has won just 9 games over the past few years and the 2006 season was a mess. He did a great of turning the program around but the Miners have really collapsed late in Conference USA Preview seasons and went 5-7 last year and return very few starters.
