College basketball betting has fourth-ranked Villanova favored at St. John’s on Saturday in a game that can be seen on ESPN. The Wildcats have looked very impressive this season and they are a popular NCAA basketball betting pick in this game against St. John’s.

College basketball betting has seen Villanova dominate this series against St. John’s in recent seasons. The Wildcats have won eight of the last ten in this series and they are 7-3 against the NCAA basketball betting odds.  The games in this series recently have not been close. In fact, Villanova has won by double-digits in each of the last five games against St. John’s.  The last time St. John’s got a win against Villanova was back in 2003 by a score of 52-50.

Villanova is rolling along this season and if they win this game they will move up in the latest AP poll to at least #3. The Wildcats routed Rutgers 94-68 on Wednesday in college basketball betting as Dominic Cheek scored 17 points while Corey Stokes added 16. Corey Fisher added 15 points as Villanova matched their best start since the 1963-64 season. Villanova is the only team in the Big East that is unbeaten in conference play. Villanova is so talented and so deep that Conference Player of the Week, Scottie Reynolds only scored 9 points in the NCAA basketball betting win. If you are looking for a potential Final Four team then you might want to start looking at Villanova.  The Wildcats have already won two conference games by 20 points or more this season. Villanova is a sizzling 13-4 this season but just 3-2 against the college basketball betting number on the road.  The Wildcats have the third best offense in all of college basketball, averaging 85.2 points per game.

St. John’s is coming off a poor performance last time out as they were routed 75-59 by Connecticut in college basketball betting.  D.J. Kennedy had 19 points to lead St. John’s.  The college basketball betting loss to Connecticut ended a two-game conference winning streak as they had beaten Cincinnati and DePaul. St. John’s is 9-6 against the college basketball betting odds but just 2-3 at home.  The trend to consider when betting St. John’s games is the total as all four of their true home games have gone under the NCAA basketball betting total.
