March Madness gambling in the first round of the NCAA Tournament is extremely popular, especially on the #5 versus #12 game. Every year you

College basketball betting on Texas didn’t go very well last week as the Longhorns suffered their first two losses of the season. The Longhorns fell from the top spot in the nation to #6. They will now try and get things going again as they host Texas Tech in NCAA basketball betting action on Wednesday in a game that can be seen on ESPN U.

College basketball betting has Texas going for their 14th consecutive home victory over Texas Tech on Wednesday.  The Longhorns should be angry and ready for a good effort after losing last week to Kansas State and Connecticut. “It’s tough, and I’d be lying to you if I said it ain’t,” senior Damion James said. “We’ll get back on a roll now. I know me and I know this team and we’ll get back going. Maybe this is what it takes to bring us back down to reality.” James leads the Longhorns in scoring at 17.6 points per college basketball betting March Madness gambling.

Texas has not played well offensively in the last few games and that is why they have lost in NCAA basketball betting. They have gotten very little from center Dexter Pittman or from guard Avery Bradley.  J’Covan Brown did next to nothing in the losses.  “I think it has been great for the younger guys to go through this and realize that right now, at this time of year, the intensity has got to go up,” head coach Rick Barnes said. Texas has owned Texas Tech in this series, winning 25 of the last 29 games including 13 straight at home. James averaged 19.5 points in last season’s sweep of the Red Raiders.

Texas Tech started conference play at 0-3 but has won two straight including 75-65 over Oklahoma on Saturday. Mike Singletary has averaged 23.5 points in the last two wins.

The Longhorns are 7-3 in college basketball betting in their last 10 home games. The Longhorns are 6-21-2 ATS in their last 29 vs. Big 12. The Longhorns are 0-6 in college basketball betting in their last 6 games overall.  Texas is 15-5 against the NCAA basketball betting line in the last 20 meetings against Texas Tech.

Five of the last six Texas Tech conference games have gone under in college basketball betting. 20 of their last 28 on the road have gone over the college basketball betting total. In this series between Texas and Texas Tech, seven of the last ten have gone under the NCAA basketball betting number.
