Texas-Pan American at Texas NCAA Basketball Betting

NCAA basketball betting heavily favors Texas-Pan American on Tuesday as they host Texas Pan-American. The Longhorns are ranked second in the country and will beat Pan-American. The only question is whether or not they cover the huge college basketball betting number.

NCAA basketball betting has seen Texas-Pan American do very well so far this season. The Longhorns are unbeaten at 8-0 although some of their competition has been weak. They beat Texas State 87-54 on Saturday as Damion James had 21 points and 16 rebounds.  It was the 40th career double-double for James. “I think 50 sounds better. Or 60,” James said. “It’s cool. I just want to win. I promise, that’s all I want to do.” The Longhorns have won their first eight games by 15 points or more. The Longhorns did suffer an injury in that game that could impact future NCAA basketball betting odds.  Freshman J’Covan Brown, who is averaging 12.6 points per game injured his left ankle.  What should help the Longhorns in NCAA basketball betting is the addition of Jai Lucas. He will be eligible to play this weekend in the college basketball betting matchup with North Carolina. “You don’t ever have enough players,” head coach Rick Barnes said.

NCAA basketball betting has Texas starting a season at 8-0 for the third time in the last five years.  Texas has started the season with eight wins by double-digit margins for the first time since the 1921-22 season. It is the first time ever they have won the first eight games by 15 or more points. They have won by 30 or more four times this NCAA basketball betting season.

Texas Pan-American is 1-9 on the season. They are coming off an NCAA basketball betting loss to Texas-San Antonio last week.  Pan-American is led by Jared Maree who is averaging 9.8 points per game. This is the sixth-ever NCAA basketball betting meeting between Pan-American and Texas. The Longhorns have won all five previous NCAA basketball betting meetings, the last of which was 82-54 in 2005.

Texas Pan-American is 6-0 vs. the NCAA basketball betting number in their last 6 non-conference games and they are 5-0 in college basketball betting in their last 5 road games.

The Longhorns are 5-1 in NCAA basketball betting in their last 6 home games. The Longhorns are 7-2 in college basketball betting in their last 9 non-conference games.
