2007-2008 SEC Conference NCAA Basketball Lines

NCAA basketball line odds will have competitive games in the SEC conference all season. The SEC East is led by Tennessee who should be favored in basketball lines on most nights.  The SEC West is not as strong but Arkansas should be the NCAA basketball lines favorite.

NCAA basketball lines experts like Tennessee to win the SEC in 2007-2008.  The Volunteers are led by preseason All-America Chris Lofton.  Not far behind Tennessee in NCAA basketball lines odds is Vanderbilt.  They easily could have made the Final Four last season.  Senior Shan Foster and true freshman Andrew Olgilvy lead the way.  Taking a step down in terms of NCAA basketball lines rankings is two-time defending champion Florida.  They lost a lot but still are talented and can impact basketball lines.  Also down a bit is Kentucky in terms of NCAA basketball lines odds.  Billy Gillespie will need time to turn Kentucky into a power again.  South Carolina is led by transfer Devan Downey.  He will make the Gamecocks tough to handle in basketball lines.  Georgia should be tough at home but may struggle on the road in NCAA basketball lines odds.

The SEC Conference West should have Arkansas favored most of the time in NCAA basketball lines odds.  The Hogs return most of their team from last year.  Patrick Beverly, Darrian Townes, Sonny Weems lead a balanced Razorback attack that can impact the NCAA basketball lines.  Mississippi should be improved this year with head coach Andy Kennedy.  They have All-SEC performer Dwayne Curtis to lead the way and he can impact basketball lines.

Mississippi State has G/F Jamont Gordon but needs more to impact the NCAA basketball lines on a regular basis.  Alabama has Richard Hendrix but little else that can impact the NCAA basketball lines.  Auburn has a lot of players returning but needs to prove the can compete at the top of the conference.  LSU lost way too much and will need a lot of things to go right to impact the NCAA basketball lines. Look for Arkansas to take the SEC West but the West division is well back of the East in terms of talent and depth.  The SEC East could easily have a number of teams in the NCAA Tournament and they have some serious Final Four contenders led by Tennessee.
