Due to the UCLA Bruins coming out of nowhere to catapult to the top of the Pac 12 standings has this week become chaos. The Pac 12 Tournament will be held appropriately enough in Las Vegas, Nevada. And a crapshoot it is likely to be for betting on college basketball. Current projections have seven teams in the conference needing their dance shoes. But that is not a certainty. Indeed, the one sure way to get an invite to the Big Dance is to win this week’s tournament!

UCLA Bruins (19-11 SU, 16-13-1 ATS, 13-16 OU)
First-year UCLA coach Mick Cronin needed time for his system and players to mesh. But now they have as the Bruins are one of the hottest teams in the land. UCLA has lost only two of their last 10 matchups to the online betting spread. Their metrics are not dominant but their momentum is. Naturally, UCLA tradition and history make this brand iconic. Cronin has lit the fuse and the Bruins have caught national attention.
Oregon Ducks (22-7 SU, 17-12 ATS, 18-10 OU)
Namely coach Dana Altman has turned Oregon into the best program in the Pac 12. Since 2013 the Ducks have made the NCAA Tournament a total of six times with one Final Four. Oregon was a solid betting value this season and is in good form with four payouts in their last five games.
Colorado Buffaloes (21-9 SU, 12-17-1 ATS, 17-13 OU)
At the onset of Pac 12 play, Colorado was the hottest team in the conference. One of the nation’s best defenses made them highly profitable for most of the season. However, an inconsistent offense has put the Buffs in the cooler. CU has covered the spread in just one of their last eight games. Further, Colorado went from the conference lead to fourth place. They are on fumes.
USC Trojans (21-9 SU, 19-11 ATS, 9-21 OU)
Few teams in the nation were as profitable as the Men of Troy this season. Now F Onyeka Okongwu’s 16.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game is a big reason as to why.
Arizona State Sun Devils (19-10 SU, 14-14 ATS, 14-15 OU)
Counter to how USC is printing money the Sun Devils are coming up empty. Arizona State has covered only two of their last seven games. Mediocre metrics of 118th for scoring offense and 186th for points allowed have not helped.
Stanford Cardinal (20-9 SU, 19-10 ATS, 11-16 OU)
Late on the Cardinal has rallied to stand a solid shot at earning their dance shoes. Stanford has gotten the cash in five of their last seven games. Specifically, a rugged defense ranked 11th best in the country has been the bedrock of their success.
Arizona Wildcats (19-10 SU, 15-14 ATS, 13-16 OU)
Oddly Arizona’s national rankings of 42nd for offense and 60th for defense are the best combination in the Pac 12. Of great concern is that the Cats have paid in only three of their last eight games. Arizona has simply not been able to finish games.
