Odds to Win the NCAA Championship in Final Four Betting

Final Four betting includes odds for each team to win the NCAA Championship. There are Final Four odds on both games for Saturday but what is sometimes forgotten is that you can be on a team to win the title before the Final Four begins. Final Four betting favors Duke to win the title.  They are the +125 favorite in Final Four odds.  West Virginia is the +200 second choice followed by Butler at +400 and Michigan State at +450.  What is interesting about the odds is that one of the two favorites is going to lose before Monday’s title game.  Duke is the favorite and West Virginia is the second choice but they play each other.

Duke is favored by 2.5 points in Final Four betting in the game on Saturday against West Virginia. The other matchup has Butler a 1.5 point favorite in Final Four betting against Michigan State.  If you like Butler in the game against the Spartans you could take them and lay the points and you could also bet them at 4-1 to win the title.  Since they have the home court edge there could be some value in taking the Bulldogs at 4-1.

Duke is getting a lot of action in Final Four betting but there simply is not much value in taking Duke at almost even money.  Duke is a high profile team with a great coach.  They can be beaten though.  West Virginia has the best player remaining in the tournament but there is not much value in taking them at 2-1 in Final Four betting. If you like the Mountaineers to win it all you should just take them on the money line against Duke.  Then you only have to worry about one win.

Michigan State has head coach Tom Izzo and a hard working team.  They can win but they not only have to beat the home court edge of Butler they also have to find a way to score.   Butler plays excellent defense and Michigan State could struggle to get points.  It should also be noted that the Bulldogs have won 24 straight games so they are the hottest team in this tournament. Butler’s defense is ranked 6th in the country in defensive efficiency.  Butler is still not given as much respect in Final Four odds as perhaps they should be getting.  4-1 to win it all could be a bargain.
