2007-2008 Notre Dame Fighting Irish College Basketball Lines

College basketball lines last season on Notre Dame Fighting Irish saw the Irish go the NCAA Tournament. The Irish put together an 11-5 conference record and a fourth place in the Big East.

Coach Mike Brey was voted Big East Coach of the Year, College basketball lines on Notre Dame this season will probably be higher since the Irish lost their top scorers from last year, forward Russell Carter and guard Colin Falls.  The good news for fans of Notre Dame college basketball lines is that the Irish return three starters who averaged double figures last season.

Forward Rob Kurz averaged 12.6 points per game and led the team in rebounding with 8 per game.  Fans of Notre Dame Fighting Irish college basketball lines may remember that the Irish led the league in scoring last season. Luke Harangody returns to give the Irish a presence in the paint.  He averaged 11.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game last season as fans of basketball lines remember and made the Big East All-Rookie Team. Juniors Luke Zeller and Zach Hillesland also return in the frontcourt according to college basketball lines experts. Zeller averaged 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game but constantly disappointed fans of college basketball lines. Hillesland averaged 5.8 points and 4.8 boards per game for fans of Notre Dame college basketball lines.

In the backcourt, junior Kyle McAlarney and sophomore Tory Jackson are back to excite fans of Notre Dame Fighting Irish college basketball lines. McAlarney averaged 10.3 points per game as fans of basketball lines remember. Jackson averaged 7.8 points and 6 points assist per game.  He also had 59 steals last year. Sophomore Jonathan Peoples returns but will be pressed by some of the newcomers according to college basketball lines experts.  6-8 Tyrone Nash can play inside and outside. Six seven Carleton Scott is an athletic forward who can score and impact basketball lines. Six-seven Tim Abromaitis may also play and impact basketball lines. 6-4 guard Ty Proffitt is expected to contribute in the backcourt according to college basketball lines experts.

Head coach Mike Brey has done an excellent job in his time at Notre Dame.  He will be tested this season with his top two scorers gone.  Notre Dame will still make an impact on college basketball lines but they will not be as successful this season.  The strength of the Irish according to college basketball lines experts is the frontcourt and the Irish will need big seasons out of Kurz and Harangody.
