Now that the 2015 March Madness or the 2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball Annual Tournament is in full swing, the tournament move to the Round called “Sweet 16” and the games are played on the Thursday the 26th and Friday the 27th of March 2015 and the game we will preview is the West Region game with Wisconsin playing North Carolina on Thursday, March 26th 2014.

The Badgers can close to being upset in their game with Oregon in the Round of 32 as they move on to this Sweet 16 and the match-up with the Tar Heels whom are a team that like to wear out the opponents on the court, and the question at task, is can the Badgers keep up with the Tar Heels fast pace in this game?

If you are a Wisconsin Badgers fan and like to Bet on College basketball, especially the “Big Dance” at a Sportsbook, surely you know that in the last game the Badgers were outshot and outrebounded by the Ducks of Oregon, but were still able to squeak out a win at 72-65 as the shot a mere 43% in that game last Sunday.

The two star guard players for the Badgers in Hayes and Kaminsky who for the season have combined to score some 71.6 games each game during the 2014-15 seasons, while they also average some 20.5 rebounds in those same games. On the Tar Heels side their guards don’t score quite the same as the Badgers, but their fast game speed may just make the difference, as they successfully steal the ball a lot during their defensive pressure against opponents. One of the North Carolina problems has been turnovers as they are averaging over 12 each game and that has an out of sight ranking nationally. In the Badgers of Wisconsin’s last games they played they are only 4-6 ATS for the period of time.

And if you’re a Tar Heels fan, don’t worry there is still lot of March to share around. In the last game for North Carolina against the Razorbacks of Arkansas they managed to outscore Arkansas 87-78 to move on to this Sweet 16 match-up with Wisconsin. The Tar Heels will be looking for their scoring star Paige who against the Razorbacks in the 2nd half scored some 20 points and that made his total points for the game 22, thus if he can step up his play in the first half, who knows how many points a game he can provide. In the 1s half of that game he missed a lot of shots but did manage in that game to draw some nine fouls of which he made all 9 shots. Also Tokoto will be needed to assist Paige in the scoring and his continuation of making 6 to 8 assists each game in the transition.

The Badger is Wisconsin are a NCAA team that may play the slowest pace game in college hoops these day as they during 2014-15 only managed some 59.3 possessions for every 40 minutes in a game. Then the Tar Heels play the fastest pace game in college hoops as they average some 69.5 possessions for the same 40 minutes of a game. That leads us to believe that if North Carolina can keep up that fast pace, that would make Wisconsin play faster and maybe lose their sync and team rhythm on their offensive schemes.

In the last 6 game the North Carolina Tar Heels are 4-2 ATS and some experts still pick them to beat the Badgers with their fast paced game and their talent and skills in their game plan.
