The Wildcats in this game had just returned from a win over Butler, where they had to rally late and make a comeback to win, in this game they took the lead early and never gave up as they avenged an OT loss to 61-66 back on the 3rd of Jan. 2015.

The Pirated of Seton Hall struggled in the game, but their guard Whitehead led the team scoring 15 points as their team had not had 5 consecutive losses. Their second leading scorer Gibbs made 12 points, and then was ejected from the game for committing a flagrant foul in the 2nd half of the game as with his forearm he hit Wildcats guard Arcidacano on the nose, and the referees considered it to be a flagrant foul thus ejecting him.

For those that Bet on College basketball at an Offshore sportbook the Pirates of Seton Hall started the season at 7-0, then struggled only winning 3 of their next 9 regular season game after they upset Villanova back on the 3rd of January 2015 and that loss by Villanova kept them from making their best start for a season in the school history as they were 13-0. However Villanova now has five more games to play before the start of the tournament for the Big East and they are in the lead at 2 games over their nearest opponent Butler.

This coming Saturday the 21st of Feb. 2015, the Wildcats of Villanova travel to play at St. Johns, and also on that same Saturday the Pirates of Seton Hall travel to play at Marquette.
