At the beginning of March Madness, nobody heard of Saint Peter’s college. And they didn’t bother finding out as the Peacocks were expected to be slaughtered. To illuminate, Saint Peter’s was an 18-point dog to Kentucky with the College Basketball odds. And nobody saw an upset as possible, let alone coming. But that is the danger of sports gambling and the beauty of March Madness. If you can’t see it coming, you will often be blindsided. Saint Peter’s took out the vaunted Wildcats 85-79 in overtime. And then they beat Murray State to gain the Sweet 16.

Accordingly, North Carolina blew a 25-point lead to defending national champion Baylor. But the Tar Heels showed nerves of steel in winning the overtime session!
