Even backup center Daniel Orton is projected as a first round pick. “I’ll tell you right now, Daniel will have options at the end of the year on what he wants to do,” Calipari said, “They’re looking at him saying, ‘this kid is really, really good.’ And he is.”
Cornell is not an average Ivy League team. They routed Cornell and Wisconsin in the first two rounds. They start four seniors and they can win in a variety of ways. Will the experience of Cornell trump the youth and talent of Kentucky. Those that bet on March Madness lines don’t think so since Kentucky is almost a double-digit favorite on Thursday.
