College basketball betting favors Ohio State on Thursday as they host James Madison as part of the 2K Sports Classic. The Buckeyes covered the huge NCAA basketball betting number in their opener as they defeated Alcorn State 100-60 as 39 point favorites on Monday. College basketball betting saw the Buckeyes roll over Alcorn State as Jon Diebler scored 22 points while William Buford added 19 points. The Buckeyes will host James Madison on Thursday in college basketball betting. The NCAA basketball betting contest can be seen on the Big Ten Network on Thursday. James Madison was 21-15 a year ago so they do have some returning talent that could challenge the Buckeyes in this game. The 2K Sports Classic has a total of 12 teams in the tournament with second, third and fourth-round games at Florida International University in Miami.

James Madison and Ohio State have met just once in college basketball betting history and that was back in the first round of the 1982 NCAA Tournament and the Dukes won 55-48.  James Madison has not even played a Big 10 team in college basketball betting since 2001-2002.

Ohio State is a team to watch this season in college basketball betting. They will play five of the preseason Top 10 ranked teams this year in NCAA basketball betting. They face #2 Michigan State, #4 North Carolina, #7 Purdue, #9 West Virginia and #10 Butler in college basketball betting. Michigan is ranked #15 while Minnesota is ranked #18 so the Big 10 is going to be tough this college basketball betting season.  The Buckeyes are also going to face either #12 California or #25 Syracuse in this tournament in college basketball betting.

Ohio State is going to be popular in college basketball betting since they return all five starters and they also return senior Jeremie Simmons, who started 25 of 33 games last year. Junior David Lighty, who started the first seven college basketball betting games last year, also returns. Evan Turner is the star returning player as he leads the team along with Diebler, Dallas Lauderdale and Buford. Senior P.J. Hill, who started the last eight games a year ago in college basketball betting, is also back for the Buckeyes.
