First Four is Set for Tuesday and Wednesday Nights

At the onset of 2011 First Four, there were complaints that it was just a money-making scheme to add four games to the TV tab of CBS and its affiliates. But in 2011, the Virginia Commonwealth Rams shocked the world by making the Final Four. While that proved the exception to the rule, it was not a one-off. Two years ago, the UCLA Bruins made history with the College Basketball lines by making the Final Four from the First Four slot. Hence, the First Four play-in games can lead to bigger things.

2023 First Four Overview

Dayton, Ohio, hosts two games on Tuesday and two more on Wednesday. In turn, the four offshore betting winners of the First Four matchups will advance to the NCAA Tournament Field of 64.
