College Basketball Betting – Texas at Texas A&M

A rivalry game in the Big 12 is part of ESPN’s Big Monday as Texas visits Texas A&M in college basketball betting.

The Longhorns are unbeaten in conference play this season after winning against Missouri on Saturday. The Aggies have now lost twice in the Big 12 after falling in college basketball wagering at Nebraska over the weekend.

No Offense for A&M
The problem for Texas A&M is that they can’t score. They had just 17 points in the second half against Nebraska on Saturday. It was a pathetic offensive effort from the Aggies. Head coach Mark Turgeon said his team just wasn’t tough enough on Saturday.  A&M actually led Nebraska by 7 at the half before completely falling apart.  The Aggies didn’t shoot the ball well and they were abysmal from the free throw line, shooting under 50%. The Aggies are now 2-2 in true road games this season.  A&M has been much better at home so they should be able to give Texas a game.

First Meeting
Earlier this month in Austin, it was a Texas rout as they beat A&M by a score of 81-60. The Longhorns jumped out to an early 15 point lead and never looked back.  Texas is doing a lot right this season including covering the spread. They are a superb 13-3 ATS this season including 4-1 ATS on the road.

Great Texas Numbers
The Longhorns only loss in their last ten games was against Connecticut and that game in overtime.  Texas is capable of scoring a lot of points but they are also playing good defense.  The Longhorns are 5-0 in college basketball wagering in their last 5 road games and overall the Longhorns are 6-0 ATS at SBG in their last 6 vs. the Big 12.  Texas has been great on Mondays as they are 28-12 ATS in their last 40 Monday games.

A&M Trends
The Aggies are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 home games. The Aggies are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 vs. the Big 12. The Aggies are 8-0 ATS in the last 8 meetings at home in t his series.

Monday’s Total
This could be a low scoring game on Monday in college basketball betting especially since A&M is simply not scoring many points. The Under is 4-0 in the Longhorns last 4 road games. The Under is 10-3-1 in the Aggies last 14 overall.
