Opening Matchups
Interesting possibilities abound with the opening matchups. Action begins Thursday morning. Kentucky closed strong by winning the SEC Tournament. As a five seed they will face Davidson. Opening against Penn is no sure thing as the Jayhawks have been known to choke away early round games. Auburn is the four seed in the Midwest but running on fumes. Bruce Pearl’s team closed in horrible fashion but did win a share of the SEC title.
Matchup to Watch
Virginia doesn’t get a lot of love with the College Basketball betting line. Because they are not a flashy team and rely on defense they are often overlooked. Of course, that made the Cavaliers a great wagering value. UVA lost just nine out of 30 games vs. the line.
