December 1, 2010 NCAA Basketball

College basketball odds on the Big West Conference this season will probably have Cal Santa Barbara and Cal State Fullerton battling it out for the top of the conference.

Both teams should be favored quite a bit in basketball odds this season.  In addition to UCSB and UCF, other contenders could be Irvine, Pacific and Cal Poly SLO.

College basketball odds experts see that the Titans are a serious contender in the Big West this season after completing their second 20-win season in three years. Experts at college basketball odds see that the Titans do lose Bobby Brown, their all-time top scorer but they have a lot of returning talent. Scott Cutley should provide a lot of offense for fans of basketball odds in addition to Marcus Crenshaw and Frank Robinson.  What has hurt Fullerton early according to college basketball odds experts is an injury to Cutley that has him returning in December.

Basketball odds experts believe Cal Poly SLO is among the top teams in the conference as they won 10 of its last 12 games to end last season. College basketball odds experts see that the Mustangs also have key returnees in Dawin Whiten and Trae Clark. The Mustang defense, according to college basketball odds experts, will be led by Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Year Titus Shelton.

Cal Irvine has some key returning starters for college basketball odds gamblers to watch.  UCI will be relying on Patrick Sanders who led them in scoring last year according to college basketball odds experts.  The Anteaters were only 15-18 last season, but with four returning starters, they should be a contender according to college basketball odds experts. Pacific is also returning many key players from last year’s team including Anthony Brown and according to basketball odds experts they could be a contender this season.  The Big West Conference should be very competitive this season in terms of college basketball odds.
