Recent form: The Hornets had won three straight, including crucial wins over Toronto and Oklahoma. Tonight they have a chance to gain ground on the Heat, whom they trail by 1½ games.

Key players: Isaiah Thomas closed out March with four straight 30+ point-performances, though on Sunday he failed to break the 20-point mark for the first time since March 3rd. 
Recent form: The Celtics have won six of their last seven games, including the last two straight. Boston and Cleveland have the exact same record (50-27) entering tonight, but the Cavs lead the ongoing season series 2-1.
