Basketball gambling uber-favorites Golden State Warriors look to make a clean sweep of the Utah Jazz in game 4 of the Western Conference semis (and become only the second team to start the playoffs 8-0, the first being of course your current reigning and defending champions the Cleveland Cavaliers). Utah played its best game yet on Saturday but could not hold on to a precarious one point lead while GS went on a 10-4 run in the fourth quarter and never looked back.

Golden State
Key players: Kevin Durant outshined both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, scoring 38 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in 39 minutes. “I’m going to try to say this as humble as I can, but I’ve been doing this for so long,” the forward said, “Scoring and stuff is not easy, but it’s what I do the best.” Why, he’s a regular Uriah Heep in the “‘umbleness” department.
Recent form: The Warriors have won the last seven straight as well as their last five consecutive road games. Additionally, Golden State has prevailed in 10 of the last 11 meetings with the Jazz.
NBA online betting odds trends: Golden State has covered the spread in the last five games on the road but only in two of the last six games against Utah. The basketball gambling total has gone over in four of Golden State’s last five road games, under in 10 of the Warriors’ last 15 on the road, and under in six of their last seven encounters with the Jazz.
Utah
Key players: Gordon Hayward had 29 points and six assists but in the words of Coldplay, when you try your best but you don’t succeed, could it be worse? The small forward will have to do better than his best tonight, especially if the team as a whole has yet another slow start. Hayward will also need all the help he can get from Rudy Gobert – who posted 21 points and 15 rebounds on Saturday – particularly seeing as how the rest of the team shot 39% from the floor in game 3. George Hill has missed the last two games with an injured toe and is questionable for tonight.
Recent form: The Jazz have lost four of the last five games, including the last three in a row, but they have won 10 of the last 13 at home. Unfortunately, they are 1-10 in the last 11 versus the Warriors and 1-7 in the Dubs’ last eight visits to Utah.
NBA online betting odds trends: Utah is 5-2 against the spread in the last seven games overall but only 1-4-1 ATS in the last six home games. The basketball gambling total has gone under in four of the Jazz’s last six games, over in four of Utah’s last six at home, under in six of their last seven against Golden State, and under in 11 of their last 15 times hosting the Warriors.
