The NBA online betting odds favor the Raps even though they have lost two straight games. Toronto lost 101-102 to the Pistons on Sunday. DeMar DeRozan had a 17-foot shot to win the game in the Raptors’ last possession, but could not get the better of Detroit’s Marcus Morris – though the All-Star claimed he was fouled by Morris. DeRozan had a game-high 26 points in 38 minutes, and Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points and nine rebounds, but Toronto still went on to lose its 10th time in the last 14. Forward Patrick Patterson missed his fourth consecutive game and 14th of the last 23 with a left knee injury. Toronto is 7-7 without him. In his stead, rookie Jakob Poeltl made his third straight start. DeRozan extended his streak of straight 20-plus-point games to 20. The Raptors shot 59% in the first quarter and held the Pistons to 43%, and had a 51-45 lead at halftime. DeRozan led the team with 10 points in the first quarter on 5-for-6 shooting. The Raptors were firmly in control during three fourths of the game. Detroit turned the tables, however, and outscored Toronto 36-19 in the fourth quarter, shooting 62% to Toronto’s 37%. In NBA online betting odds trends, the Raps are 31-23-1 against the spread this regular season.

On the other side of the pro basketball lines, the Bulls have lost three in a row, including a beating by the T-Wolves on Sunday. Chicago was without Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, Nikola Mirotic and Paul Zipser. Additionally, the Bulls had 18 TOs and were outrebounded 46-35 and outscored 56-38 in the paint. Doug McDermott had 16 points and made four 3-point shots of the Bulls’ 10, five of which came in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 13 points. However, former Chicago head coach Tom Thibodeau kept his starters in until late in the game and the Wolves starter the fourth quarter with a 17-8 run in order to dash the Bulls’ hopes. Bobby Portis had 16 points off the bench, while Michael Carter-Williams and Robin Lopez were the only other Chicago starters to score in double digits, with 12 and 10 points respectively. Butler’s bruised right heel worsened during a loss to the Suns on Friday. Wade missed the game with a swollen right wrist. Mirotic had back spasms and Zipser a sore left ankle and a stomach illness. Head coach Fred Hoiberg started Jerian Grant, Carter-Williams, McDermott, Lopez and Gibson. In NBA online betting odds trends, the Bulls are 26-29 against the spread this season. about the only piece of good news for Chicago and its pro basketball lines odds is that their six-game road trip – in which they went 2-4 – is finally over and they will be making a much needed return home to host the Raptors.
