Toronto Raptors at Chicago Basketball Betting

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

Basketball betting on Saturday includes a matchup in Chicago between two tired teams as the Bulls host the Toronto Raptors.

Both teams played last night in NBA betting as the Raptors were in Washington while the Bulls were in Cleveland.  Here is a look at this matchup between Toronto and Chicago.

Basketball betting has seen Toronto own this series against the Bulls, winning 8 of the last 10 games. Toronto is also 8-2 against the NBA betting odds in those games.  The Raptors beat the Bulls 99-89 in basketball betting last month in Toronto.  Toronto also won the last basketball betting matchup between the two teams in Chicago as they defeated them 109-98 back in April.  Toronto has won four of the last five at Chicago and they are 4-1 against the basketball betting lines.

Neither of these two teams has done a lot to inspire confidence this basketball betting season. The Raptors have been better at home in basketball betting than on the road.  It is all about offense for the Raptors as they are in the Top 5 in the league but in the bottom five in points allowed in basketball betting. Chris Bosh is having a nice season as he leads the team in scoring.  Sometimes the Raptors will show up and play great but with played like Hedo Turkoglu and Jose Calderon, they are simply too inconsistent to win on a regular basis in basketball betting.

Chicago has been even worse than Toronto this basketball betting season. The Bulls are not very good on offense and that is being kind. They are not that great defensively either.  Derrick Rose is an exciting young player but he has slumped somewhat this NBA betting season.  Luol Deng has been leading the team in scoring but when you have Joakim Noah playing center your team has problems.  It doesn’t help Chicago that Kurt Hinrich and Tyrus Thomas are injured.  Head coach Vinnie Del Negro believes the Bulls have enough offensive weapons but he is about the only one. "We have enough weapons to make shots at the end," said coach Vinny Del Negro, “It’s just a matter of setting better screens, getting better spacing and execution."

The last two meetings between Toronto and Chicago have gone under the basketball betting total but the previous three went over.  In Chicago, three of the last five have stayed under the NBA betting total.
