Phoenix Suns at Memphis NBA Betting

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

NBA betting is featured on TNT television on Monday as the Memphis Grizzlies host the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns have owned this series recently in basketball betting but this is the best team Memphis has ever had so this game should be good.

NBA betting has seen Phoenix win 12 of the last 14 overall in this series. This year though the teams have split two meetings. Phoenix has won 18 of the 26 all-time meetings at Memphis.  The last time these two teams met was earlier this month at Phoenix and the Suns were humiliated 128-103.  It was a really bad loss in NBA betting for Phoenix so they will want some revenge for that performance.  O.J. Mayo had 25 points in that Memphis victory.  The other meeting this season was also in Phoenix and the Suns won 126-111 back in November.  Eight of the last ten between these two teams have gone over the NBA betting total.

Phoenix is not playing well of late and their NBA betting stats are starting to suffer. The Suns are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. They have done pretty well in the Southwest division though as they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Southwest. The Suns are 10-4 in NBA betting in the last 14 meetings in Memphis.  Phoenix is #1 in the NBA in offense but their defense has not been good, ranking next to last in the league.

Memphis has been rolling in basketball betting lately. The Grizzlies are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall. They are also very good at home as they are 18-7-1 in NBA betting in their last 26 home games.  Memphis is fourth in the league in offense and 24th on defense.

Phoenix has been a team that goes over the basketball betting total. Eight of their last nine against the Western Conference have gone over the total.  What is weird is that Phoenix goes under on the road as 10 of their last 15 road games have gone under. Memphis has also been going over the basketball betting total.  9 of their last 12 overall have gone over.

If these two teams were in the Eastern Conference they would be in great shape for the playoffs but in the Western Conference both teams have to fight so this will be a very intense battle on Monday.
