October 30th, 2018 Live NBA Betting Lines

Led by All Star Russell Westbrook and a strong defense, the Oklahoma City Thunder are a top Western Conference playoff NBA betting contender.  Despite these assets the Thunder have not been able to maintain consistent NBA games betting odds value so far this season.  The defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors also boast a superstar in Stephen Curry.  And like the Thunder, the Warriors have not been able to deliver much in the way of betting value this year.  The Warriors host the Thunder on Tuesday night on TNT.

Thunder vs. Warriors TV Coverage: TNT

Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in the midst of a NBA games betting odds slump as of late with four consecutive losses both straight up and against the spread.  OKC is coming off a 108-104 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers as 9.5 point overlays.  In the game before that, they lost 114-100 at home to the New Orleans Pelicans as 6.5 point chalks.  The under has hit in three out of the last four games for the Thunder.  The one asset that the Thunder has is Russell Westbrook.  The team captain and 2017 NBA Most Valuable Player is a seven time All Star.  Westbrook leads OKC with 25.4 points, 10.3 assists, and 9.4 rebounds per game.  Head coach Billy Donovan has built a strong defensive team that ranks sixth best in the Association.  Road games have been a money pit for Oklahoma City with a mark of 10-16 against the spread.

Golden State

The Golden State Warriors are 41-12 straight up but just 23-29-1 against the spread.  At the ORACLE Arena, Golden State has paid out in just 10 out of 25 games.  In their last eight games the Warriors have covered the spread just twice.  The under has paid out in six out of the Warriors last nine games.  Stephen Curry leads the team with 27.5 points per game.  In their last game the Warriors were upset at Denver by the Nuggets 115-108 as five point chalks.  Although head coach Steve Kerr has orchestrated the top ranked offense in the NBA his team ranks 22nd for defense.  As the most popular NBA team, with the most popular player betting value, it is a perpetual challenge for Golden State against the spread.

Team vs Team

The Warriors have dominated the NBA games betting odds against the Thunder in this head to head series.  Golden State has come away with the cash in seven out of their last eight games with the Thunder.  The under has paid out in six out of the last seven meetings between OKC and Golden State.  At ORACLE Arena, the Warriors have been a cash cow against the Thunder with nine payouts in the last ten meetings at Oakland.  Eight out of the last nine meetings at Golden State between the Warriors and Thunder have gone under the total.

Matchup to Watch

With neither the Warriors or the Thunder providing much in the way of

Online sportsbook value this season the head to head records are a good guide.  The record shows that the Warriors own the Thunder at home.
