Oklahoma City Thunder at Washington Basketball Betting

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

Basketball betting on Tuesday has the Washington Wizards hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder.

It is a back-to-back NBA betting situation for both teams so whichever team can bring the fresh legs may get the win on Tuesday.

Basketball betting had Oklahoma City playing at New Jersey last night while Washington was at Memphis. In this basketball betting series, the Wizards have won 7 of the last 10 games. They are 6-3-1 against the NBA betting odds in those games. Those basketball betting trends have to be taken lightly though since Oklahoma City is a much improved team while the Wizards are not very good. Just last month the Thunder routed the Wizards in Oklahoma City by a score of 127-108. The Thunder also won at home last year 88-83 over the Wizards. Washington did win in basketball betting at home last year versus the Thunder by a score of 104-95.

There is a lot to like about Oklahoma City in basketball betting. The Thunder have a winning record this season both straight up and against the NBA betting number. Oklahoma City has a team that plays good defense ranking 10th in the league and their offense is improved this season ranking in the Top 20. Kevin Durant is looking like the superstar everyone knew he was going to be and this is a talented young roster for the Thunder. Oklahoma City has been a solid team on the road this season in basketball betting and they could be a popular choice in this game against Washington.

The Wizards have not been very good this season either straight up or against the basketball betting line. And it really has not mattered whether they are playing at home or on the road. The Wizards are 17th on offense and 23rd on defense this season. The mystery is why Washington is struggling so much in basketball betting. In the past injuries could be blamed for the troubles but now the team has Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler and Gilbert Arenas all healthy. There is really no reason for this team to struggle but they are still losing games. They couldn’t even beat Minnesota last week in NBA betting. The Wizards are just 4-8 at home this season versus the basketball betting line. One thing about Washington is that they have gone over the basketball betting total in 7 of their 12 home games.
