New York Knicks at Orlando Basketball Betting

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

Basketball betting has the Orlando Magic favored by double-digits on Wednesday as they host the New York Knicks.

The Knicks don’t match up well with the Magic so it doesn’t help that New York had to play at home last night against Phoenix in NBA betting.

Basketball betting has this being a weird scheduling spot for Orlando.  It is a one-game homestand. They just completed a three-game road trip and after Wednesday’s NBA betting game against New York they head out for a four-game West Coast trip beginning on Saturday at Golden State.

This is the second of three basketball betting games between the Knicks and Magic this season. The teams just played on Sunday as the Magic won 114-102 at New York in basketball betting.  Last season the Magic won three of four games against the Knicks. Last season it was Nate Robinson averaging 22 points per game while Wilson Chandler averaged 19 points per game. Dwight Howard averaged 21 points and 14 rebounds per game against the Knicks a year ago in basketball betting.  In Sunday’s game the Knicks hung around for a while but Orlando outscored New York 60-50 in the second half. Nate Robinson led the Knicks in scoring with 24 points, 22 of which came in the fourth quarter. David Lee had his third consecutive double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds as basketball betting stats showed. Orlando had three players score at least 20 points, as Rashard Lewis led the way with 26 points; Dwight Howard had 24 points and 16 rebounds while Vince Carter added 23 points. Basketball betting had it being the sixth straight road win for Orlando.

The Magic are 14-4 overall and 11-7 against the basketball betting odds this season. They are more profitable on the road though in NBA betting as they are 7-3 away from home. The Magic will be sorry to see November go as they were 50-14 in November the last three years, best in the league.

The Magic have won 8 of the last 10 overall against New York although they are just 4-6 against the basketball betting lines in those games. They have won three of the last four home games against the Knicks but they are just 2-2 in NBA betting. They actually lost at home last season to New York in basketball betting by a score of 105-95. Three of the last four in this series have gone under in basketball betting.
