Wednesday NBA Wagering Online – Jazz at Magic on ESPN

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

The Orlando Magic is favored in NBA wagering online as they host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night in a game that can be seen on ESPN.

It is tough spot for the Jazz since they played last night in Miami.  The Magic are likely to get the bulk of the action from gamblers making an NBA bet at the Sbg global sportsbook.

Orlando has only lost once this season as they are 5-1 but they are just 2-4 against the spread. The Magic don’t go under the radar anymore as they are considered one of the best teams in the league.  They are favored on a nightly basis and although they are winning straight up, they are not always covering the spread.

Magic 6-4 vs. Utah
The Magic have won six of the last ten meetings against the Jazz and they are 6-3-1 against the spread.  The teams met twice last season with each team winning at home.  The Magic did not cover though in either game as they won by just five points at home when they were an 8-point favorite. The Magic have won four of their last five at home against the Jazz although they are just 3-2 against the spread in those games.

Wednesday Numbers
The big number to look at in this game is the one with Utah in the second half of a back-to-back. The Jazz are 0-4 in their last four games playing with no rest.  The Jazz are also just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games.  On the other side, the Magic are 36-17-1 ATS in their last 54 Wednesday games. But keep in mind as you make an NBA bet at Sbg that the Magic are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Total Numbers
What about the total in this ESPN game? How does Utah play with no rest?  Six of their last seven have gone under the total when the Jazz are in the second half of a back-to-back.  Overall, 9 of the last 13 Utah games have gone over in NBA wagering online. On the road, six of their last eight have gone over. Orlando has gone over in three of their last five home games.
