NBA Wagering Online – Grizzlies at Clippers on ESPN

May 30, 2011 NBA Basketball

The Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers meet in NBA wagering online on Wednesday night.

It is the final regular season game of the season and will be televised on ESPN.  You can make an NBA bet on this game at Sbg global.com.

Grizzlies Point spread Champs
If you look at the NBA standings and get beyond the straight up records of every team you will notice that the Memphis Grizzlies are the best team in the NBA against the point spread.  The San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls may have the best straight up records but the Memphis Grizzlies were the best team in the NBA to bet during the 2011 season.  The Grizzlies were 51-28-1 ATS before last night’s game in Portland.  It hasn’t really mattered whether Memphis is at home or on the road, they are excellent vs. the number everywhere.

Grizzlies in the Playoffs
Memphis is back in the playoffs for the first time since 2006.  They are not expected to go far but just getting to the playoffs is considered a success for the Grizzlies.  Memphis doesn’t have a lot of experience as three-fifths of their starting lineup has never played in the playoffs.  The Grizzlies do have some playoff veterans on the bench though in Leon Powe and Tony Allen.  Zach Randolph and Shane Battier also have playoff experience.

Clippers 20-20 ATS at Home
The Clippers have had their moments this season and at least they have something to look forward to with Blake Griffin leading the way.  The Clippers have had their troubles on the road but at home they have been competitive.

Game Trends
The Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games. The Grizzlies are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games. The Grizzlies are 20-7-1 ATS in their last 28 games playing on no rest.
