NBA Betting – Dallas Mavericks at Chicago Bulls

November 2nd, 2023 Live NBA Betting Lines

NBA betting on Thursday has the Dallas Mavericks in Chicago to face the Bulls. According to the basketball betting schedule the Mavericks are playing the first of back-to-back games as they are home against Orlando on Friday.  The Bulls are playing the fourth game of a five-game homestand according to the NBA wagering schedule.

NBA history shows that the Mavericks have won 8 of the last 10 meetings between the two teams.  Dallas has not had quite as much success against the basketball betting pointspread though as they are just 5-5 in those games.  Somewhat surprisingly, the Mavericks have had more success on the road against the Bulls in terms of NBA gaming.  The Mavericks are 4-1 straight up and 3-2 against the basketball betting number at Chicago in the last five games.  The Mavericks have been the stronger team in recent seasons and have been favored in each of the last 10 meetings regardless of the locale.  Dallas still has the stronger team this season but Chicago is making strides and the series may not be as one-sided in the future.

Gamblers looking at the NBA betting total should notice that the over is 5-4-1 in the last 10 games.  At Chicago though, three of the last five games have stayed under the NBA handicapping number.  Last year, the Mavericks won both games according to NBA betting stats.  The Mavericks won at home 102-94 but didn’t cover the 10 point NBA betting number.  Dallas also won at Chicago 103-98 but in this case they covered the three point basketball betting number.

Chicago is being led by rookie Derrick Rose in points and assists according to NBA gaming numbers. Drew Gooden is leading the team in rebounding according to NBA betting stats.  On the other side, the Mavericks are being led again by Dirk Nowitzki in scoring according to NBA odds stats.  Jason Kidd lead the team in assists while Josh Howard leads the team in rebounding.
