Oklahoma City is trying to break a two-game losing streak as they play the finale of a four-game road trip.  The Thunder is coming off a 98-92 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.  This is the first two-game losing streak for the Thunder since the end of February.  The problem for Oklahoma City on Saturday night was their defense in the second half as they gave up 61 points. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 23 points and James Harden added 14. It was an ugly game for Oklahoma City as they were given five technical fouls and both Serge Ibaka and Russell Westbrook fouled out.  The Thunder is 20-18 ATS on the road this season.

Denver 19-16-3 ATS at Home
The Nuggets have been excellent against the spread in the last few weeks. It seems every time the Nuggets hit the court they are covering the point spread for gamblers making an NBA bet. The oddsmakers still are not giving Denver enough respect.  The Nuggets do have the disadvantage of having played against the Lakers on Sunday but since the entire league had the day off yesterday it is not a big problem for Denver.

Nuggets Soaring Offense
Denver is leading the league in points per game which is a big surprise considering they traded away leading scorer Carmelo Anthony.  Denver has simply been a lot better as a team without Anthony and their offensive numbers have improved.  Denver’s defense is still not great but it is better than it was.  The Nuggets are almost assuredly going to end up in fifth place in the conference so this game is really just a send the message game for both teams since they will likely meet in the playoffs.

Series
The Nuggets have won eight of the last ten against Oklahoma City although the teams have split their two meetings this season.  The Thunder won and covered in NBA betting at home back in December while the Nuggets won and covered at home in mid-January.
