Since Duncan has been in San Antonio the Spurs have the best record in the league and they have won four NBA titles. Duncan can still be counted on to score and to rebound but he does need help. The Spurs have a great guard combination with Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. The trio of Duncan, Ginobili and Parker are still capable of winning games for San Antonio but if the Spurs are to beat a team like the Lakers they need more from players like Jefferson and younger players like DeJuan Blair and rookie Tiago Splitter. The Spurs paid a lot of money for Jefferson and didn’t get much from him last year as he averaged just 12.3 points per game. The Spurs should be helped this season as Parker is healthy. He missed a lot of time last season and that hurt San Antonio. He is a key player for San Antonio in NBA betting online and cannot be replaced.
