December 17th, 2020 Live NBA Betting Lines

The Los Angeles Lakers will actually be an NBA betting online underdog on Tuesday night when they visit the San Antonio Spurs.

It is the first time this season that the Lakers will be getting points in NBA betting. The Spurs have the best record in the NBA and are a deserving favorite at SBG against a Los Angeles team that has lost nine times this season.

Lakers Have Lost Two Straight
Los Angeles has lost their last two games, falling to Milwaukee and Miami both at home. The troubling part for the Lakers is that they didn’t look motivated in either game. Head coach Phil Jackson said he is not too concerned as he believes his team will be ready to contender for an NBA title before the season is over. That may be true but right now the Lakers are not playing well. The Lakers have a tough back-to-back as after Tuesday’s game they play at New Orleans on Wednesday. The Lakers normally rise to the challenge in big games and the coaching staff has been pointing to this game on Tuesday for a while.

Spurs 17-2 at Home
San Antonio has the best record in the league at 26-4 and they have been beaten at home only twice this season. San Antonio did have their long winning streak broken by Orlando last week but the Spurs came right back and routed Washington on Sunday. The Spurs are going to be tested this week as after Tuesday’s game against the Lakers they travel to Dallas on Thursday and then begin the New Year at home against Oklahoma City. San Antonio only has two losses at home straight up this season but they are just 10-9 ATS in those games.
