Monday NBA Betting – Boston Celtics at Atlanta Hawks

November 21st, 2023 Live NBA Betting Lines

The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks meet on Monday in NBA betting with the Hawks trying to cover at home for the first time this season. The Hawks are 8-5 on the season but they have yet to cover the spread on their home court.  They may not cover this game either as gamblers are looking at taking the Celtics on Monday with their NBA bet at Sbg global. The Celtics are playing in the second half of a back-to-back but if you ever wanted to have a back-to-back this is not a horrible situation. The Celtics played yesterday in an early start at Toronto so at least they have a little extra rest and the Raptors are not a team that is tough to play against.

Celtics Ready for Big Games
The Celtics have been excellent against the league’s best this season. They have struggled sometimes against poor teams. They lost last week against Oklahoma City and while the Thunder is not a weak team the same thing happened to Boston.  Kevin Durant was out for the Thunder in that game and the Celtics suffered a huge letdown and lost 89-84.  The Celtics should have no trouble getting ready for Atlanta since the Hawks beat them all four times a year ago.

Celtics on the Road
The Celtics have been very good on the road this season and we already know about the struggled of Atlanta at home.  This seems like a good spot for Boston.  The Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. the Southeast.  The one concern is that the Celtics are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 Monday games.

Monday NBA Betting Trends
The Hawks have done well on Monday’s as they are 11-5-2 ATS in their last 18 Monday games. Remember those bad home numbers for Atlanta?  It is just as bad if you go back farther as the Hawks are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 home games.  Everything looks good for Boston except that the Celtics are 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Atlanta. If you are looking at the total with your NBA bet then keep in mind that the Over is 7-3 in NBA betting in the Celtics last 10 overall.  On the other side though the Under is 9-3 in the Hawks last 12 home games. In this series, the Over is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Atlanta.
