NBA Betting: Milwaukee Bucks at New York

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

NBA betting has the new look New York Knicks hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

The Knicks definitely look different with Tracy McGrady in the lineup and they could have some success in this basketball betting matchup against Milwaukee.

NBA betting has the Bucks looking for the season sweep over the Knicks.  They have won the two previous games this season. The last time Milwaukee swept New York was in the 1990-91 season when the Bucks went 4-0 against the Knicks.  New York forward David Lee leads the team with 20.1 points per game and ranks 15th in the NBA in scoring. He also averages 11.5 rebounds per game, which is fifth in the league.

The Bucks have won six of the last ten against the Bucks but the teams have split the last ten against the NBA betting odds.  The Bucks won in New York earlier this month in NBA betting by a score of 114-107 and they won at home 102-87 back in November.  Four of the last six in this series have gone under the basketball betting number.

Milwaukee is 10-1 in NBA betting in their last 11 vs. the Atlantic Division. The Bucks are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Bucks are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 vs. the Eastern Conference and they are 13-3 vs. the NBA betting point spread in their last 16 games overall. The Bucks are 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings.   Milwaukee has been a good team this season vs. the spread and that includes on the road where they are 17-11 this season.

The Knicks are 3-7 in basketball betting in their last 10 games overall. The Knicks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Eastern Conference. New York is 14-16 against the spread at home this season.  Perhaps that number will improve now that they have McGrady and Eddie House.

Five of the last six Milwaukee games have gone under the total and four of their last five on the road have gone under.  Eight of their last eleven against the Atlantic Division have gone under the basketball betting number.  New York has gone over the total in their last six games and they have gone over in their last four at home. Four of the last five in this series at New York have gone under the NBA betting total.
