Miami Heat at Washington NBA Betting

November 30, 2010 NBA Basketball

NBA betting experts are looking forward to the Washington Wizards hosting the Miami Heat on Tuesday in an ESPN televised game for the first of four matchups this season.

The two clubs will meet again next week in basketball betting in Miami. Last season, Miami swept the season-series, 4-0, for the eighth time in history.

NBA betting stats show that the Heat is 59-27 all-time versus the Wizards in the regular season, and is 26-17 in games played in Washington. It is a back-to-back basketball betting situation for both teams. The heat played at home last night against Phoenix while the Wizards were in Cleveland. It could be an entertaining game since both teams can score as the Heat Have Dywane Wade while the Wizards have Gilbert Arenas.

Washington has been dealing with injuries again this NBA betting season. They are doing much better this basketball betting year though. They were expected to get Caron Butler back on Tuesday for that NBA betting contest but Antawn Jamison will be out for a few weeks. This season the Wizards have depth and it has been huge in their NBA betting results. In addition to a healthy Gilbert Arenas, the Wizards have Randy Foye, Mike Miller and Fabricio Oberto who can impact NBA betting. And even more important, they have a winning coach in Flip Saunders who really gives them a chance to win in NBA betting. "We have a lot of depth. Everybody can contribute," said Gilbert Arenas, "We get everybody back; we can be even deadlier. Right now, we just have to maintain until Antawn and Caron get back."

Another big part of the basketball betting success for Washington has been their defense. Saunders knows how to coach defense and he has improved Washington’s defense. "We like more of a family," said Andray Blatche, "I don’t want to let somebody down or have my family upset with me."

The Wizards held Dallas to just 91 points in their NBA betting opener. They also played well against New Jersey and Atlanta defensively in those two NBA betting games. "We’re like the typical counter-puncher. You punch us first, we’ll duck and miss and hit you in the rib," Saunders said. The Wizards will be tested in this NBA betting matchup since the Heat has Dywane Wade who can score and ruin any team’s defense. It should be an entertaining NBA betting matchup on ESPN.
