Make a Basketball Bet on the Heat and Bulls

Basketball bet interest should be high on Thursday as the Chicago Bulls host the Miami Heat in a game that can be seen on TNT. The Bulls are trying to make a late season push and make the playoffs while Miami is trying to hold on to a spot.  This is the fourth and final basketball betting matchup between Miami and Chicago this season.

Basketball bet results indicate that the Heat lead the season-series 2-1.  A year ago the Heat won three of the four games against Chicago. Less than two weeks ago it was the Heat winning 108-95 at home against Chicago as Jermaine O’Neal had 25 points while Quentin Richardson added 23 points.  Miami also won 95-87 at home back in November. The Bulls pulled out a 95-91 home win over Miami last month.

Last season Dwyane Wade averaged 32.8 points per game against the Bulls.  Even though Miami has won six of the last ten against Chicago, the teams have split their last ten games against the basketball bet point spread.  Three of the last four games have gone under the total in basketball betting.

Miami is playing pretty well lately having won five of their last seven. They had moved up to 6th place in the Eastern Conference.  Only one game separates Miami, Toronto and Charlotte for the last three spots in the East. Chicago is within striking range though as they are a couple games back of the last playoff spot.

Miami is 18-16 on the road this season vs. the NBA point spread.  The Heat are winning with a surprisingly strong defense. They are 4th in the league in fewest points allowed this season. Miami can struggle to score at times but they do have Wade and he oftentimes will do enough for them to win.

Chicago is 17-15-2 at home this season vs. the spread. Chicago is still without Luol Deng but they do have Derrick Rose and they are working Joakim Noah back into the starting lineup.  The Bulls really suffered with a long losing streak but they come into this game having won two in a row.  They still have a chance to make the playoffs and this would be a key win on Thursday night.  Chicago is just 23rd on offense and 14th on defense so they don’t do anything particularly well.
