NBA futures and props favored the Atlanta Hawks before this series against the Milwaukee Bucks began.
Those numbers have not changed much as the Hawks are still favored in basketball futures and props vs. the Bucks. Here is a look at Game 3 in this series set for Saturday.
NBA futures and props list Atlanta as the favorite against Milwaukee even though the series has moved to Milwaukee. The Bucks suffered a big loss before this series began as Andrew Bogut was injured. Most people don’t believe the Bucks can win this series without one of their best players in the lineup.
The Hawks could end this series in short order vs. the basketball futures and props but they will need to win in Milwaukee to do so. They will get their chance on Saturday night in a game that can be seen on ESPN. The problem for the Hawks is that they have had very little success in recent years in Milwaukee. They have lost 7 of the last 10 games in Milwaukee. The teams played two games in Milwaukee during the regular season and they split. The Hawks won 104-96 while the Bucks won 98-95. Both of those games went over the total. That continued a recent trend as the last four meetings in Milwaukee between the two teams have gone over the total.
Atlanta was decent this season on the road as they went 23-18 vs. the point spread. The Hawks are solid on defense as they were 10 in the league this season. Offensively they were just average but the Hawks do have a balanced attack. They should be able to outscore Milwaukee since the Bucks don’t have Bogut in the lineup. Milwaukee just has Brandon Jennings for their scoring while Atlanta has a number of players who can score.
The Bucks were very good at home this season vs. the number as they went 24-16-1. They will need to play well at home if they are to have any chance in basketball futures and props. Milwaukee can play defense as they were 7th in the league this season. They were just 23rd on offense though and that is a problem. Brandon Jennings is capable of scoring on a regular basis but there is just not much behind him and that is a big problem in this series against the Hawks.
