Now that the NBA 2015 Playoffs in the Eastern Conference have come to the point of the Round 2, we will now see the 2nd Game of this Conference playoffs with the Wizards of Washington playing the Hawks of Atlanta in the 2nd game after the Wizards won the 1st game and took a 1-0 lead in this 7 game series. This 2nd Game will be played again in the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia with tip-off at 8:10 PM ET and seen on TNT TV.
The Vegas odds experts are favoring the Hawks of Atlanta in this 2nd Game at -6 ½ with the Total at 197 ½ and -290 on the Money Line, with the comeback on the Wizards of Washington at +6 ½ and +245 on the Money Line.
Looking at the 7 Game Series, the 1st Game was won by the Wizards in Atlanta with the Wizards 104 and the Hawks 98. The 2nd Game in the 7 game series is played also in Atlanta on Tuesday the 5th of May, with the Wizards at the Hawks. Then the 3rd Game will be on Saturday the 9th of May in Washington with tip-off at 5:10 PM ET with the Hawks at Washington. The 4th Game is to be played also in Washington on Monday the 11th of May at 7:10 PM ET with the Hawks at the Wizards. Then the 5th Game (if needed) is to be played in Atlanta on Wednesday the 13th of May with the Wizards at the Hawks and time TBD. The 6th Game (if needed) will be played at Washington on Friday the 15th of May with the Hawks at the Wizards with the time TBD.
Then the 7th and Final Game (if needed) will be played in Atlanta on Monday the 18th of May 2015 with the Wizards at Atlanta and the time TBD. As we head into this 2nd Game of Round 2, the sports fans need to belief that the Wizards are for real as they swept the Raptors in the 1st Round of the Playoffs and came storming into Atlanta to beat the No.1 seed Hawks at home by some 6 points at 104-98 this past Sunday the 3rd of May 2015. The question coming into game 2, is can the Hawks win this second game and have a 1-1 home split as they go to Washington for Game 3?

These 2 guards have been the valuable players to date in the playoffs, and if either is not at 100% for the 2nd game, that will be of a major concern.
However, if the guards play in game 2 and are affected by their injuries it likely that the Wizards could win this Game 2 and return to their home court with a 2-0 lead, and with their last win they on road games have won 8 and lost only one.
If you happen to be a fan of the No. 1 seed Atlanta Hawks, in the first half of that 1st Game they played very well as they took a 65-53 lead at halftime as they shot 53% on 3-pointers and 52% on field goals. But that pace did not continue as their problems they face in the series with the Nets of Brooklyn reappeared and for the game they dropped to 34% on 3-pointers and 38% on Field goals.
In the Game 1 the Hawks in the 2nd half got their open shots but just could not connect on a consistent basis. In the game they ended up only averaging 28% or completion 15 of their 53 uncontested attempts.
Atlanta and their Front Court players responded very well in Game 1 and in the 4th quarter dominated the backboard with their versatility and their size and that could be to the Hawks advantage as they go forward in this 2nd round series against the Wizards smaller front court. Atlanta in their last 20 Home games have 16 wins and 4 losses, but ATS they were just 11-9.
The media experts predict that in Game 2 the Hawks will improve their scoring and beat Atlanta and cover the spread at the same time.
