Boston Celtics Playoff History
To be exact, Boston is one of the legacy franchises of the NBA. Founded in 1946, the Celtics have won 17 NBA championships. That is tied with the Los Angeles Lakers as the most in the NBA. However, Boston has had just one NBA title since 1986. Specifically, that was in 2008 against the Lakers. Boston’s last conference title was in 2010.
