The Celtics were far better this season on the road than they were at home. People just believed that this was still the same Boston team that was dominant and that simply was not the case. At home they were almost always overvalued. On the road the Celtics were a much better wager against the NBA betting odds. That doesn’t mean the Celtics were great on the road though. The Heat had a losing record during the regular season at home vs. the point spread. Miami plays excellent defense but oftentimes they don’t get enough offense to cover the number in home games. Miami had the second best defense in the league during the regular season. Boston was not far behind at 5th in the league so this game on Sunday has the potential to be low scoring.
