Basketball gambling odds are very close on Tuesday between the Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls.
It is the second game of a five-game road trip for the Suns. The Bulls badly need this win as they are trying to stay in the playoff race in the Eastern Conference. Phoenix and Chicago have split their last ten meetings in NBA gambling.
Basketball gambling fans don’t see Phoenix and Chicago play very often. They normally meet just twice a year. They played earlier this season in Phoenix and the Bulls actually pulled out a 115-104 road win. This has been a road team series as Phoenix has won three of the last four at Chicago. The Suns could be the choice in this game as well since the Bulls have been nothing special at home.
Phoenix is the top scoring team in the NBA so they will try and outscore the Bulls in this basketball gambling matchup. Phoenix doesn’t play much defense so the Bulls could score a lot of points as well. You would think with the top scoring offense in the league and a defense that is just 28th that the Suns would go over the total a lot. They don’t. Phoenix goes under the total more often and it doesn’t matter whether they are at home or on the road. Amare Stoudemire leads the team in scoring and he gets a lot of help from Steve Nash and Jason Richardson.
Chicago really can’t afford to lose too many more games if they expect to make the playoffs. Chicago is just about .500 at home this season vs. the NBA gambling odds. They really struggle at times to score points. They have Derrick Rose and not much else. Chicago is just 23rd in the league in points per game. The Bulls are just average on defense and that could be a real problem against the high scoring Suns. Chicago has been going under the total this season and that could happen in this game on Tuesday. It is tough to take Phoenix games under the total but it has worked more often than not. If the Bulls are to beat the Suns in this game they will need to play defense. Chicago played very good defense last week against Philadelphia and Houston. "That’s how we’re going to win games," guard Kirk Hinrich said.
