Basketball odds favor the red-hot Milwaukee Bucks on Friday as they host the Miami Heat in a game that can be seen on NBA-TV. It is a tough spot for Miami as they are in the last game of a three-game road trip and in the second half of a back-to-back as they played at Chicago last night. It doesn’t help their cause that they have lost six of the last ten in NBA odds against the Bucks.
It would be hard to find a team in the NBA playing any better than Milwaukee. The Bucks seem to win on a nightly basis. They have gone from a fringe playoff team to 5th in the Eastern Conference. They probably won’t catch Atlanta but they proved earlier this week they can beat the Hawks. Milwaukee is now a team that might be able to win some games in the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.
Milwaukee has owned Miami this season, winning all three games between the two teams. The Bucks easily covered the basketball odds as well. They won 95-84 in Milwaukee and they routed the Heat in Miami by scores of 94-71 and 97-81. The last four games in this series have all gone under the NBA odds.
Miami has been a better team on the road this season than at home vs. the point spread. Miami plays tough defense and that seems to be a winning formula on the road. The Bucks are also solid on defense as they are in the Top 10 in the league. Milwaukee’s offense is a little better than Miami’s and at home the Bucks have been solid. Milwaukee can get scoring from a number of players. Andrew Bogut leads the team in scoring but just barely. Brandon Jennings, John Salmons, Carlos Delfino and even Luke Ridnour can provide scoring. The team even has Jerry Stackhouse coming off the bench.
The Heat are a well known team because they have Dwyane Wade but the Bucks have been the more profitable team this season vs. the basketball odds. Milwaukee is undervalued and they don’t really have any star players. Jennings is a rookie and he still doesn’t get a great deal of attention. The Bucks are an interesting team to watch though and so far this season and they have been a profitable one to wager on
