Basketball gambling favourites Golden State Warriors enter tonight with designs on sweeping the San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors routed an undermanned Spurs 120-108 in game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday. San Antonio matched a playoff-best with 33 points in the first quarter and was ahead by as many as six points in the first half. However, Golden State shot 55% from the floor and went 11 for 27 from the three-point line.

Sportsbook NBA basketball gambling odds:

Warriors -12 (-110) 216½ (-110) -1000
Spurs +12 (-110) 216½ (-110) +650

Golden State

Key players: As the Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said “every time you look up, you’re playing against four All-Stars.” Kevin Durant led the way with 33 points and 10 rebounds, while Stephen Curry added 21 points. Let’s not kid ourselves here, though; the true hero of the day was Draymond Green, who put San Antonio forward David Lee in a wheelchair. The Warriors are quite the Murderers’ Row in more ways than one.

Recent form: Golden State remains undefeated in the playoffs and became the third team in league history to win their first 11 postseason games. Moreover, the Warriors have won 80% of their last five meetings with the Spurs.

NBA online betting odds trends: Winning and covering are pretty much all one for Golden State; the Warriors are 4-1 against the spread in the last five games and 5-0 ATS in their last five road games. The basketball gambling total has gone over in six of the Warriors’ last seven road games and over in five of GS’s last six games versus the Spurs.

San Antonio

Key players: San Antonio’s roster has been depleted by the injury bug – if by “injury bug” one means Zaza Pachulia and Draymond Green of course – so old man Ginobili had no choice but to lead the charge with 21 points – joining Lew Alcindor as the only players 39 or older to score more than points in a conference final game. Forward LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points on 7-for-17 field goal shooting. Pop decided not to play Kawhi Leonard against the latter’s wishes, hopefully saving him for tonight. San Antonio is 1-2 in the playoffs without Leonard and went 7-1 in the regular season sans the small forward.

Recent form: The Spurs have lost three straight games for the first time since mid-April – and then they weren’t even trying. Additionally, they have dropped two thirds of their last six games and have won only one fifth of their last five encounters with the Warriors. On the other hand, San Antonio has prevailed in 29 of their last 25 home games and in 21 of their last 25 times hosting Golden State.

NBA online betting odds trends: San Antonio has only covered in two of the last four games. The basketball gambling total has gone over in the Spurs’ last five games at home and under in four of the Warriors’ last six visits to the AT&T Center.
