The Kings have done very little this season but head coach Paul Westphal doesn’t seem to be in danger of losing his job. The only player worth following on Sacramento is Tyreke Evans as he leads the team in points, assists and steals. Perhaps rookie DeMarcus Cousins will be worth a look as the season goes on. He is starting to get more playing time and has looked good. The Kings have not had a good offense this season under Westphal which is a surprise because normally his teams can at least play exciting basketball. That has not been the case this season as the Kings are 27th in the league in points per game. And we know that Westphal’s teams never play defense. The Kings are 17th in the league in points allowed.
Clippers 2-13 SU, 6-9 ATS
The Clippers have fewer wins straight up than the Kings but they have more wins against the spread. One of the few reasons to watch the Clippers is Blake Griffin. He missed all of last season with an injury but he is healthy this season and looks great. Los Angeles still doesn’t score a ton of points per game and they play very little defense but when Griffin is on the court they can be worth watching.
