NBA All Star Game Odds & Scores at SBG Global

NBA All Star game odds in recent years have had the Western Conference favored against the Eastern Conference with a total in the 250’s. The 2008 NBA All Star game should again have the West favored with a total in the mid to upper 250’s. NBA All Star odds have the West favored because the Western Conference has dominated the Eastern Conference in regular season play the past few years.  That has not always held true in the NBA All Star though.  Last year it held up though as the West covered the NBA All Star odds winning 153-132.  That result could lead to higher NBA All Star odds this year on the side and the total.  The public loves to bet the over in NBA All Star game odds even though it hasn’t always worked.  In 2006 and 2005 the NBA All Star went under the total as 242 and 240 points were scored.  The East also won both games against the NBA All Star odds. 

NBA All Star odds will have the West and the over as popular choices but as we have seen in the past, that doesn’t mean they will win.  The reason the public loves to be the over in NBA All Star odds is because they like to see points scored.  There is no fun in cheering against points in the NBA All Star , so the public rarely bets the game under.  Recent NBA All Star game odds history shows that the games usually have about 250 points scored.  We looked at the past three years already.  The rest of this decade had scores of 136-132, 155-145 (2ot), 135-120, 111-110 and 137-126.  The West also won four of those five games and if you throw in last year’s win, the West has won 5 of the 7 games this decade. As you consider NBA All Star odds you may want to keep in mind that the value will probably be with the East and the under. That does not mean either of those two will win, it just means that the public is likely to bet the West and the over in NBA All Star odds.
